DSP’s 2 week makeup challenge: Day 1

My favorite brand is Benefit!

1. The Porefessional primer: I love this primer in the summer when my face is more prone to getting oily. It’s not so great in the winter as it is a bit drying, but it is great for mattifying and you only need a little bit to get great coverage.

2. Boi-ing concealer: The lightest color is the one I use, and the thick texture is fantastic for covering serious blemishes.

3. That Gal brightening primer: Love this on my cheeks and browbones. The color is gorgeous!

4. Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Get Figgy: This color is beautiful! Combined with the eyeshadow primer, this makes one hell of a cream shadow. I’ve had terrible luck with cream shadows in the past, but I love this one.

5. Stay Don’t Stray eyeshadow primer: See above!

I am content with nothing, restless and ambitious… and I despise myself for the vanity, which formed half the stimulus to my exertions. Oh would that I were one of those plodding wise fools who having once set their hand to the plough go on nothing doubting.

"The sun has come.
The mist has gone.
We see in the distance…
our long way home.
I was always yours to have.
You were always mine.
We have loved each other in and out of time.
When the first stone looked up at the blazing sun
and the first tree struggled up from the forest floor
I had always loved you more.
You freed your braids…
gave your hair to the breeze.
It hummed like a hive of honey bees.
I reached in the mass for the sweet honey comb there….
Mmmm…God how I love your hair.
You saw me bludgeoned by circumstance.
Lost, injured, hurt by chance.
I screamed to the heavens….loudly screamed….
Trying to change our nightmares to dreams…
The sun has come.
The mist has gone.
We see in the distance our long way home.
I was always yours to have.
You were always mine.
We have loved each other in and out
in and out
in and out
of time."
